Aside from that I'm heavily into baking (Ottolenghi is my current obsession), reading (Kindle addiction is getting out of hand) and travelling.
I've always had a love for writing and reading, so it made sense to start something where I could develop my writing style and post about things I love. And to write a blog with only the occasional spelling mistake, because it's crazy how many people can't spell these days.

Whilst at University I wrote for and was President and Editor in Chief of an online student magazine Her Campus Exeter, something which kept me very busy but which was so worthwhile. I loved discussing and receiving articles from girls on a wide variety of subjects; the journalistic talent at Exeter is brilliant. Editing articles and learning about the marketing and business side of a company was fascinating. The results were pretty great too - watching a magazine's readership, influence and social media presence grow so quickly was exhilarating.
